What's Actually Included in an All-Inclusive Wedding Package at Riverside
"All-inclusive" gets used loosely by a lot of venues, and it rarely means the same thing twice. Here's exactly what's covered in Riverside's All-Inclusive Wedding Package, what still sits outside it, and why couples end up choosing it over piecing a wedding together themselves.
What's Actually Included in an All-Inclusive Wedding Package at Riverside
Every venue seems to have a different definition of "all-inclusive." For some it means the venue and a caterer. For others it's a vague bundle that still leaves you sourcing your own florist, DJ and photographer separately. That inconsistency is exactly why couples ask us to spell it out before they book - so here it is, in full, no fine print left out.
Riverside's All-Inclusive Wedding Package covers your venue, your coordinator, your ceremony styling, your reception décor, your food, your DJ and your photographer, all under one booking. Here's what that actually looks like on the day.
The venue and your team
Your package includes your choice of ceremony space - the river-facing Open Air Chapel or the willow-lined Garden Chapel - paired with either Wisteria Hall for larger celebrations or Willow Hall for something more intimate. Venue hire runs for 8 hours from your ceremony start time, and includes full set-up and clean-up of all Riverside items.
You'll also have the Bridal Suite from 7am to 7pm on the day, and the Honeymoon Suite for your first night as a married couple, with breakfast for two included the following morning.
A dedicated Wedding Coordinator is with you from your very first planning meeting through to formalities wrapping up on the night - handling menu selections, a concept storyboard, a floorplan and a full day-of timeline alongside your MC and Front of House team.
Ceremony styling
White Wimbledon chairs, a white carpet down the aisle, a signing table and confetti bowls, floral arrangements on your arch or plinths, a small floral posy on every second chair, and a bridal bouquet with a groom's buttonhole are all part of the package, along with a lemon and mint water station for guests as they arrive.
Reception styling
Tables are set with your choice of linen, runners and napkins, crystal glassware, and cutlery and underplates in silver, gold or rose gold. Every table gets a floral centrepiece with candles, there's a main table arrangement, a one-tier cutting cake, a printed seating chart and menus, and a Simonsig MCC toast - one bottle per ten guests.
Food and drink
Guests are welcomed pre-reception with a beer and cider selection or juice bar, plus your choice of a harvest table, canapés, or meaty grazing platters. The reception itself runs as a four-course experience: an elegantly plated starter, a main course served buffet or family-style - two meats, two starches, three vegetable or salad options - and a dessert table of four different treats.
DJ and photography
A professional DJ covers your ceremony, pre-reception and reception across the full 8 hours. Your photographer is booked for 9 hours and includes a complimentary engagement shoot plus 700 edited photographs, so you're not left waiting weeks to find out whether you like your gallery.
What's not included
Hair, make-up and videography sit outside the package, though we can point you toward vendors we've worked with before. Extras like a Boma fire pit reception, additional hours beyond the 8-hour package, a dance floor monogram, or a second cake tier are available on request as add-ons.
Why couples choose all-inclusive over building it themselves
The honest reason is fewer moving parts. Booking a venue, florist, DJ, photographer and caterer separately means five contracts, five deposits, and five people who've never worked together before trying to coordinate on your wedding day. All-inclusive collapses that down to one team that already knows the venue, has run weddings in it before, and reports to one coordinator instead of you having to manage every vendor relationship yourself.
It also tends to remove the guesswork around final cost. Instead of a venue quote followed by five more quotes trickling in over months, you get one number that already accounts for florals, entertainment and food - so there are fewer surprises as your date gets closer.
Practical advice if you're comparing packages
Ask what "included" actually means for florals. Some venues include a small arrangement or two; ours includes styling across the ceremony, guest tables, main table, and every small detail area like the signing and gift tables. Get the specifics before comparing prices.
Check the photography hours against your day's actual length. A 6-hour photography package sounds fine until you realise it doesn't cover getting-ready shots or the first dance. Ours runs 9 hours specifically to cover both ends of the day.
Confirm what happens with guest numbers above your package tier. Ask any venue directly rather than assuming - our All-Inclusive Package allows for additional guests at a set per-person rate, so there are no last-minute renegotiations if your numbers grow.
Ask about the coordinator's actual involvement, not just their title. A coordinator who shows up on the day is different from one who's been in your planning meetings for months. Ours is involved from the first sit-down through to the last formality.
